The short version: I respect your privacy. This site uses cookieless, anonymous analytics – no tracking, no consent banner needed.

What Data Do I Collect?
I use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to understand how readers use this blog and how the site performs. No cookies are set, no personal data is stored, and no data is shared with third parties. This includes:
- Which pages you visit,
- How long pages take to load,
- The country you're connecting from.
I have no way to identify you. No cookies are used for analytics.
If you contact me by email, I will process your email address and name in order to reply.
Newsletter
If you subscribe to my newsletter, I collect your email address, the timestamp of your signup, and a record of your double opt-in confirmation (the "yes, subscribe me" click in the confirmation email). This is handled through Kit (formerly ConvertKit), which acts as data processor on my behalf under its Data Processing Agreement.
Kit is based in the United States. Your data is transferred there under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses included in Kit's DPA.
Purpose: sending you the newsletter. Legal basis: your consent (double opt-in). Retention: until you unsubscribe, which you can do at any time via the link in every email.
The site also stores one flag in your browser's localStorage after you subscribe, so the signup form doesn't show up again on your next visit. It contains no identifier and is never sent to a server – clearing your browser data or using a private window will simply bring the form back.
Your Rights
You have the right to know what data I have about you and to ask for its deletion. Just send me an email.
This site does not use cookies. Vercel Analytics above and the newsletter's localStorage flag are both cookieless.
