Bulk import images into Marketing Cloud Next CMS

Drop your images, set titles and alt text, and download a ZIP that the CMS Workspace Import feature accepts as is.

How to import

  1. Add your images here, check titles and alt text, and download the ZIP.
  2. Set a CMS folder if you want one — it doesn't need to exist yet, the import creates it. To nest it under another folder, separate the names with a slash, e.g. Campaigns/Black Friday 2026.
  3. In the CMS Workspace, click Manage, then Import, and upload the ZIP.
  4. Select “Publish all content after import” if the images should go live right away.
  5. Wait for the completion email, then refresh the Workspace.

One import accepts up to 5,000 items. Keep an eye on CMS Storage when importing lots of high-resolution files.

Are my images uploaded anywhere?

No. The ZIP is built in your browser and this page has no backend, so the images only ever travel from your computer to Salesforce.

What does the manifest CSV look like?

A header row with fileName,title,altText,folderPath, then one row per image. Only fileName is required, and names are matched case-insensitively. For a nested folder, separate the names with a slash in folderPath, e.g. Campaigns/Black Friday 2026.

Is there a size limit?

Only your browser's memory. A few hundred MB is fine. For multi-GB batches, split them into several ZIPs.
